  22.     I went through the same exercise to no avail. The following steps will
  23. work. First under Control Panel select System, select Device Manager,
  24. Remove your Current USR Modem entry. Again Control Panel, Add New
  25. Hardware. Select NO, choose modem, select Don't detect, under
  26. manufacturers, select USR and you'll see the new entry Sportster VI
  27. 33600. Select, next select port. When asked for drivers, select
  28. alternative and choose USR v.34
